Your all-in-one farm manager.

Kindred works in the barn with no signal and catches up the moment you're back on Wi-Fi or cell service. Animals, breeding, chores, eggs, feed and money - on your phone and the farm PC.

Ditch the notebooks and spreadsheets

Everything the farm keeps track of - in your pocket and on your computer.

๐Ÿ

Animals & breeding, made simple

Record every animal, litter, flock and hive right where you are - it shows up on the farm PC too. Kindred works out the due dates, sets the reminders and prints the pedigrees.

โœ”

Chores for the whole family

Morning, afternoon and evening chores. Each person checks off their own, with a photo to show it's done. Parents send a ๐Ÿ‘ or a "please redo" straight back to the child. It's all written down, so nothing gets lost.

๐Ÿฅš

Eggs, feed & production

Whoever collects the eggs enters the count, with a photo, right at the coop. Kindred turns it into lay rate and cost per dozen, tracks the feed on hand and warns you before it runs out.

๐Ÿ’ฒ

Money & year-end records

Income and expenses with receipt photos, cost per animal and a year-end summary for your tax preparer.

๐Ÿด

Horses & horse boarding

Coggins and papers with expiry reminders, the farrier schedule and fecal egg counts, and an emergency card with numbers you tap to call. Boarders get a monthly statement. Boarding will be a paid add-on later; it's free while Kindred is in testing.

๐Ÿ—

Meat batches

Broilers and rabbit grow-outs from arrival to processing: losses, feed conversion, cost per head and profit.

Coming soon Farm Sitter: send a sitter today's chores, the animals and the map for the days you're away - no app or account for them, and it stops when you say.

Made for farm life

  • Barn mode: big buttons you can tap with gloves on, high contrast for bright sun.
  • Kids get their own simple screen: just their chores, big check-off boxes and a โœ“ count of what they've done this week.
  • Talk instead of type: a ๐ŸŽค on every note.
  • Your farm on a map: upload a photo or a hand-drawn sketch of the farm and outline your pastures, pens and barns. Each place shows who's in it, and a โš  shows over any spot with a problem or a late chore.
  • Works offline and syncs when there's signal. Records are locked before they leave the phone, so only your farm can read them.
  • Small and quick to download: under 15 MB on a phone and under 10 MB for the PC, so it's easy on rural internet, data plans and older phones.
  • Mistakes are easy to fix: typed the wrong feed amount or weight? Change it. Kindred keeps a note of what changed, so nothing is ever lost.

The PC is the farm office

  • Pages spread into columns on a wide screen.
  • Approve the kids' photos and changes; print pedigrees, barn sheets and statements.
  • Export everything to Excel any time - your records are yours.

When something's wrong

  • โš  Report a problem from any phone - kids too. A photo first, then what it is: a fence down, an animal loose or hurt, out of water, a predator sign.
  • Pick how urgent it is, from Need help now to Just so you know.
  • The parents' phones and the PC pop it up with the photo. The first one to tap I've got it takes it, and everyone sees who.
  • Mark it fixed with a photo of the repair, so there's a record.

Questions people ask

Does Kindred work without internet?

Yes. Everything is saved on the phone or PC itself, so it works in the barn with no signal. When the device is back on Wi-Fi or cell service it catches up with the rest of the farm.

What does it cost?

Nothing while Kindred is in testing. Prices will be announced before launch, and testers hear first. The everyday farm records are the core of Kindred; boarding (horses and dogs) will be a paid add-on, and bigger setups can add phones and PCs as they grow.

Which phones and computers does it run on?

Android phones and Windows PCs. iPhone and Mac: not yet.

Can the whole family share one farm?

Yes. One farm can have a PC and as many phones as you like. Each kid gets their own simple screen, and parents see everything.

Is Kindred a 4-H or FFA record book?

It keeps the records a book needs - animals, money, hours, goals and the story - and prints them in several state layouts or as a copy-and-paste worksheet. Your county's own book is still the one you turn in.

Is my farm's data private?

Your records live on your own devices. When they sync, they're locked with a key only your devices hold, so even we can't read them. No ads, no selling data. See the privacy page.

Do I need an account or a password?

No account and no sign-in. A phone joins your farm with a short code from the PC. Kids never need an email address.

Kindred is in a closed test

One tester code unlocks a whole farm - the PC and every phone that joins it. Ask to be a tester:
